The Quentinsential Collection

I recently came across my Final Major Project for my degree. The project was self written and I chose to depict the 5 films of Quentin Tarantino (Inglorious Basterds hadn't been released yet) in the form of women's underwear. The project was a chance for me to approach the films I love from a textile perspective and transform their violent nature into something that was asthetically attractive and would appeal to women. My favourites are the deathproof and Jackie Brown designs- AK47!

Psychedelic Patterns with Chinese Lanterns

During my foundation year I used collage to create a series of Chinese lantern illustrations. I recently came across them and developed them into a range of pyschedelic-esq patterns. I like the combination of different textures and colours and how the forms of the lanterns connect at spidery points.

Alternative Dazed and Confused Cover Design

I was too late to submit my design to the Dazed and Confused Illustration competition to design an alternative cover based on one of theirs- nevermind- there's always next time!

Christmas Cushions 2009

I have always loved the original Alice in Wonderland illustrations by Sir John Tenniel- and with the new Tim Burton release I felt it fitting to create a design that payed homage to his work and made a Christmas cushion design for friends and family.
